FM-2030 is the name of an author born in 1930, whose original name was F.M. Esfandiary. He was a teacher, and more importantly a transhumanism philosopher and futurist who held a belief that humanity will reach a turning point in year 2030 and human would be ageless and living forever with technology advances. He even officially changed his name to FM-2030 to break free the traditional naming convention with his aspire for eternal immortality. With this influence C2H4® created the collection from the perspective of FM-2030 and other transhumanists back to that age.
